About

DolomWood gives new life to ancient wood, creating exclusive environments rich in personality. From their workshop in Lozzo di Cadore — at the foot of the Dolomites — they design and build bespoke furniture with meticulous attention to detail and the most advanced woodworking technology. Every piece of reclaimed timber tells a centuries-old story, and DolomWood ensures that story continues.

Company story

Founded by F. Corisello and F. Tremonti in the Cadore valley — the historic heartland of Venetian woodworking — DolomWood was born from a passion for salvaging ancient timber that would otherwise be lost. The workshop in Lozzo di Cadore combines traditional hand skills with CNC precision, transforming centuries-old larch, spruce and oak beams into contemporary kitchens, living rooms and entire hotel interiors. Their most extraordinary project: fitting out the interior of Bivacco Fanton, a mountain shelter at 2,667 metres altitude in the Dolomites, where every panel had to be helicoptered to the summit. DolomWood's work philosophy — head, hands and technology in perfect balance — has earned them a loyal clientele across northern Italy and beyond.

2021

Bivacco Fanton — Interior at 2,667 m

Complete interior fit-out of a high-altitude mountain bivouac in the Dolomites. All wood panels, sleeping platforms and furnishings were designed to withstand extreme alpine conditions, manufactured in the workshop and helicoptered to the site for installation.

2023

Casa Maria Giuditta — Val del Boite

Full kitchen and living room renovation using 200-year-old reclaimed larch beams salvaged from a former tobacco warehouse near Treviso. The ancient wood was restored and transformed into bespoke cabinetry that honours the material's history while serving modern living needs.
