Legal basis
Terms of Use
These terms describe the current LEMATO operating basis. They apply to all users — guests, registered Entdecker (customers), and registered businesses. Last updated: Juni 2025
1. Platform role
LEMATO is a discovery and contact platform for craft businesses, ateliers, and specialist service providers. LEMATO connects businesses with people looking for their work. LEMATO does not rank providers through hidden paid promotion and does not take a position in any transaction between a business and a customer.
2. Open access principle
Discovering businesses and making first contact is always free and accessible — for guests and registered users alike. There is no paywall on browsing the catalog or sending a request. A registered Entdecker account adds convenience (pre-filled forms, request history, status tracking) but is never required to make contact.
3. Business accounts and profiles
- Each registered business may maintain one public profile on LEMATO.
- Profiles must describe real activity, accurate contact information, and genuine location data.
- Media, references, pinboard posts, and profile text must belong to the business or be used with permission.
- Businesses remain solely responsible for offers, agreements, delivery, quality, taxes, and all legal obligations arising outside the platform.
4. Requests and contact
Guests and registered users may send genuine project, repair, collaboration, or inquiry-based requests to businesses. Requests are private — visible only to the sender and the receiving business. Spam, abusive messages, misleading identity, and automated misuse are not permitted.
5. Review and publication
Business profiles are not automatically public. LEMATO reviews each profile before publication and may publish, reject, request changes, hide, or remove content when it appears incomplete, misleading, abusive, illegal, or inconsistent with these terms. The review process follows the steps: Draft → In Review → Published.
6. Platform fees and transactions
Where platform-assisted payments are used, LEMATO applies a transparent platform fee shown separately from the business amount. Transaction records distinguish gross amount, platform fee, and net amount attributable to the business. Full invoicing, tax reporting, and payout automation are not part of the current service phase.
7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
LEMATO is operated from Hungary. These terms are governed by Hungarian law. For matters covered by EU consumer protection regulation, applicable EU law takes precedence.
8. Changes and pre-phase status
LEMATO is currently in a controlled pre-phase. Features, terminology, review processes, fees, and commercial handling may change as the product develops. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
